RBM CAPS

The essentials

Conventional liquid water treatment solutions (tanks, aerosols, metering pumps, etc.) present risks of leaks, overflows, overdosing, unsafe conditions, and complex logistics.

RBM CAPS offers a radically different alternative: solid water treatment.

RBM CAPS

The Solution

World's first range of solid-form water treatment* for residential heating and air conditioning systems.

* Solid, compact and durable inhibitors, sludge removers and biocides.

RBM CAPS

The main benefits

  • Simple and safe to use

Dose inserted into the filter/device, dissolves gradually

  • No spills, freezing or overflowing

  • Space-saving

    No more bulky containers

  • Precise and consistent dosing

  • Environmentally friendly

Completely plastic-free packaging that is 100% recyclable.

  • Optimised logistics

Up to 3.5 times less CO₂

Type of SystemTreatment RequiredCAPSNotes
New — High TemperatureRadiators / conventional boilerCleaning + Protective treatment
DR1+DR2
DR1 + DR2 can be inserted simultaneously because DR2 does not need to be drained.
New — Low TemperatureRadiant / heat pump / UFHCleaning + Protective treatment + Biocide
DR1+DR2+DR4
DR1 + DR2 + DR4 can be added simultaneously because DR2 does not need to be drained.
Old / Highly CompromisedHeavy sludge & depositsCleaning + Protective treatment + Biocide (radiant)
DR3→ drain
DR1+DR4
Circulate DR3 for a maximum of 14 days. Then drain and refill the system, adding DR1 protector and DR4 biocide for radiant systems.

RBM CAPS

Certified performance

NSF CIAS Certified

DR1 NSF CIAS Certification

DR1 is NSF CIAS certified, the only solid corrosion inhibitor with NSF CIAS certification.

This certification guarantees:

  • Compatibility with materials (copper, steel, stainless steel, aluminum, multilayer)
  • Controlled anti-corrosion efficacy
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Absence of harmful substances released into the water

Performance Evaluation of DR2 and DR3

Dispersion Test: Tests performed on an installation consisting of an aluminum boiler and steel radiators (25 years old):

  • Dissolution in 15 minutes
  • Analysis after 1 hour of circulation
  • Checks at 24 hours and 5 days

Result: Significant reduction in sludge, deposits, and corrosion, with progressive stabilization of the system.
